Manchester city, neighbors of Manchester united were crowned English premier league Champions on Sunday 13th May 2012 since 1968 tallying their thirst for the cup to 44 years.
The league ended in style and tension has both the Manchester clubs tied on same points only goal difference separated them.Their last matches were the decider of the league as man city took Queens park rangers (QPR) on their Etihad stadium while on the other side , Manchester united visited Sunderland.
QPR were fighting not to be relegated to second division while Man city were looking for a win to be crowned champions
Man united were first to score through Wayne Rooney beefing their hopes to be crowned their 20th time but Man city also boosted their chances through Pablo Zabaleta.
Everybody knew Man united had retained their championship when QPR scored leveling the game and further scoring another to make it 2 goals to one.
Ohooooo! Man united, the celebrations were cut off by Man city on the last minutes of the game(injury/added time) as Bosnian Edin Dzeko and Sergio Kun Arguero gave Manchester City a sweet victory over QPR and they lifted the trophy confirming Man united trophless for the season.
Never forget Mark Hughes, QPR boss (former Man city coach) was fighting his old club but Roberto Mancini, the current Man. City boss confirmed him that he was not fit to manage Manchester city.
